SEPTO Awards

Mahopac’s Special Education Parent Teacher Organization (SEPTO) recently hosted its fourth annual Together We Thrive awards ceremony, a heartfelt and inspiring evening of recognition. The event honors the outstanding teachers, staff and students across the district who embody the spirit of compassion, dedication and growth.

The celebration highlighted the efforts of individuals who go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special needs. Honorees were nominated by parents, teachers and staff, making it a community-driven event that reflects shared values and heartfelt appreciation.

“Together We Thrive is more than just an awards night; it’s a celebration of the heart and soul of our district,” SEPTO co-President Jillian Armato-Doati said. “Our educators, students and staff remind us every day that perseverance, kindness and inclusion build the foundation for lifelong success, and we are proud of every nominee and honoree.”

Over the years, Mahopac SEPTO has remained dedicated to supporting the success of every student, teacher and staff member, with a strong focus on fostering inclusive practices and championing every learner’s potential. This year’s awards recognized a diverse and talented group of recipients and included student honorees from all district schools.

Mahopac SEPTO is proud to highlight the tremendous impact of these individuals and thanks the greater school community for submitting thoughtful nominations.
